In 2020 I began writing a book that I would have given to myself at age 21. I was a renegade supernatural minister who put his faith to the test at theater school, which resulted in an earth-shattering spiritual crisis. I’ve always wanted to throw a life raft to others who have been through something similar, and this book is meant to be that.
I’m 8 drafts in and have released the companion album Here’s to the Sojourners and podcast Sojourner Stories in 2021, but the book aspect is currently on hiatus while I fine-tune the concept. Turns out writing a book is difficult, and writing a memoir about complicated spiritual stuff is even harder 😅 The story will come out in some form – it just needs more time in the oven!
